By accessing or using Social Publisher, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use Social Publisher.
You must also comply with applicable laws and the terms, policies, and community guidelines of any third-party platform that you connect to Social Publisher.
The Service
Social Publisher is a content publishing tool designed to help creators prepare, manage, and publish their own video content to supported social media platforms.
Available features may include connecting social media accounts, selecting video files, preparing captions, configuring available publishing options, submitting content for publication, and viewing publication status.
Features may vary depending on the platform, account, API permissions, geographic location, and functionality made available by third-party services.
Connected Accounts and Authorization
Certain Social Publisher features require you to connect an account from a supported third-party platform, such as TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook.
Account connections are performed using authorization mechanisms made available by the applicable platform, such as OAuth.
Social Publisher only receives permissions that you authorize during the connection process. The exact permissions available depend on the platform and the features you choose to use.
You are responsible for maintaining control of your accounts and for ensuring that you are authorized to connect them to Social Publisher.
You may revoke Social Publisher's access through the applicable platform or disconnect an account where that functionality is available.
Your Content
You retain ownership of videos, captions, images, and other content that you submit through Social Publisher.
By using Social Publisher to process or publish content, you authorize us to process and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service.
You represent that you have all rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations necessary to upload and publish the content you submit.
You are responsible for your content and for ensuring that it complies with applicable laws and the policies of the destination platform.
Publishing Content
Social Publisher allows you to select content and publishing options before submitting content to a supported platform.
When you confirm a publication, you instruct Social Publisher to transmit the selected content and related publishing information to the selected third-party platform.
Publication is ultimately processed by the destination platform. A platform may process, reject, delay, restrict, moderate, or remove submitted content according to its own systems and policies.
Social Publisher cannot guarantee that a publication request will be accepted or become publicly available on a third-party platform.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Social Publisher to:
- Publish content that you do not have the right to use or distribute.
- Violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of another person.
- Distribute malware or otherwise harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Social Publisher, connected accounts, APIs, servers, or other systems.
- Circumvent technical limitations, security measures, platform restrictions, or API access controls.
- Use Social Publisher in a manner that violates the policies or terms of a connected social media platform.
- Abuse the service through excessive automated requests, spam, fraudulent activity, or other behavior that may negatively affect Social Publisher or third-party services.
Third-Party Platforms
Social Publisher integrates with independent third-party platforms and services.
Those platforms are not controlled by GBApps and operate under their own terms, privacy policies, developer policies, community guidelines, APIs, and technical requirements.
Your use of TikTok through Social Publisher is also subject to TikTok's applicable terms and policies. The same principle applies to other connected platforms.
Social Publisher is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by a third-party platform unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Service Availability
We work to keep Social Publisher available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Publishing functionality may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, network problems, API outages, account restrictions, rate limits, or changes made by third-party platforms.
Third-party platforms may change or discontinue their APIs, permissions, policies, or functionality at any time. Such changes may require us to modify, restrict, or discontinue corresponding Social Publisher features.
Paid Features
Social Publisher may offer paid features or subscription plans in the future.
If paid services are introduced, applicable pricing, billing periods, renewal conditions, cancellation procedures, and any additional payment terms will be presented before you purchase a paid service.
Unless paid functionality is currently offered, this section does not create an obligation for you to purchase or subscribe to any service.
Intellectual Property
Social Publisher, including its software, interface, original graphics, design, branding, and other original materials provided by GBApps, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Social Publisher or its intellectual property to you.
Third-party names, trademarks, logos, and services remain the property of their respective owners.
Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Social Publisher and disconnect your connected accounts at any time.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, third-party platforms, or comply with legal obligations.
Access may also be restricted where we reasonably believe the service is being used fraudulently, unlawfully, in violation of these Terms, or in violation of a connected platform's requirements.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Social Publisher is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that every third-party integration will remain available or that every publication request will be successfully processed by the destination platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, GBApps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from your use of Social Publisher.
This includes, where permitted by law, losses resulting from third-party API outages, rejected publications, platform restrictions, account actions, or changes made by third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such a limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Social Publisher develops, our integrations change, or legal and operational requirements evolve.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice before material changes take effect.
