Overview
Social Publisher is a content publishing tool that helps users prepare and publish their own video content to supported social media platforms.
Users choose which social accounts to connect and which content to publish. Social Publisher does not publish content to a connected account without a user-initiated publishing action within the application.
Information we process
Depending on the features you use, we may process the following categories of information:
- Basic account information provided by supported social platforms, such as account identifier, display name, username, or profile image.
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to communicate with social media APIs on your behalf.
- Information about publication requests, including selected platforms, captions, publishing options, publication status, and timestamps.
- Video files or other media that you explicitly select for publishing.
- Technical information such as browser type, operating system, device information, IP address, request logs, and error information when reasonably necessary for security and service operation.
Uploaded content
Video files and related publication information are processed only when you select them for use within Social Publisher.
Media may be temporarily processed or transferred in order to deliver it to the social media platform selected by you.
We do not claim ownership of the videos, captions, or other content that you upload through Social Publisher. You remain responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions required to publish your content.
How we use information
We use information only as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide and operate Social Publisher.
- Authenticate connected social media accounts.
- Upload and publish content requested by the user.
- Display available publishing settings and account information.
- Maintain publication status and troubleshoot failed requests.
- Protect the service against abuse, unauthorized access, and security threats.
- Improve reliability and diagnose technical problems.
Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Social Publisher, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve technical or support issues.
Access credentials may be retained while your social account remains connected to Social Publisher.
Temporary media files used for publication should be removed when they are no longer required for processing, subject to operational backups and applicable legal requirements.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Access tokens and other sensitive credentials should be stored securely and must not be publicly exposed.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may disconnect a supported social media account from Social Publisher at any time.
You may also revoke access through the settings provided by the applicable social media platform.
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal information.
You may contact us using the information below to submit a privacy-related request.
Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of information associated with your Social Publisher account by contacting us at the email address listed below.
After receiving a valid deletion request, we will remove or anonymize eligible information that is no longer required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes.
Revoking Social Publisher access from a social media platform prevents future API access using the revoked authorization, but it does not automatically delete information already published on that platform.
Children's privacy
Social Publisher is not intended for children who are below the minimum age required to use the relevant social media platforms or online services in their jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, integrations, legal requirements, or data practices change.
When we make changes, the updated version will be published on this page together with a revised “Last updated” date.

Connected social media accounts
Social Publisher connects to supported platforms using their official authorization mechanisms and APIs.
When you connect an account, the relevant platform may provide Social Publisher with an access token and limited account information based on the permissions that you approve.
We use these credentials only to provide the features requested by you, such as retrieving available publishing options or submitting content to your connected account.
We do not request access to permissions that are not necessary for the enabled Social Publisher features.
